The Dornbirner Ach is Dornbirn's largest river and a popular local recreation area. The well-maintained footpaths, playgrounds and shallow stretches of water invite you to stroll, swim in the wild and linger. The Dornbirner Ach has its source in the mountain village of Ebnit, meanders through the Rappenloch and Alploch gorges and the Dornbirn municipal area until it flows into Lake Constance in Hard.

The Waldbad Dornbirn Enz offers the best way to cool off on hot summer days - shaded by the cool mountain waters of the Dornbirner Ach. Whether swimming, jumping, playing or relaxing - every swimmer will find the right pool at the Waldbad Enz: adventure pool with slide, 50-meter sports pool, diving tower, children's pool and playground. It is also open in bad weather for the weatherproof.
